Worst Summer Ever Pt. 1
As the morning sun rose from the ocean, a shy light blue Pegasus pony named Aquaria trotted out of her home towards the beach. Aquaria had just reached her age where most pegasi would start flight camp and learn how to fly. Today was that day.
Aqua considers herself special, standing out from other pegasi. The reason: She's part Seapony! Underneath her wings are a small set of gills that allow her to breathe underwater! Having this ability also comes with a drawback. She has a bit of trouble being on land. With her gills, she can't live above water without eventually drying out, causing loss of breathing. So she MUST stay hydrated in order to stay on land. Aquaria learned to live with this problem and always keeps a bottle of water handy just in case. She also discovered her cutie mark/talent to being able to communicate with fish and other aquatic organisms. She was happy with this as she can survive underwater and lives by the ocean!
Aquaria eventually reached an area above water sur
An orphaned Eevee's tale 5
As she woke up, Eevee felt the bottom of the boat touch shore. She hopped off the boat with her things in a small burlap sack which was also left in the boat. She sighed. "Ok... back on land. Now I just have to look for someone kind enough to take us in." Eevee said, facing the goldfish pokemon peeking up through the surface. "Right. I'll stay here since..you know.." Goldeen assured. They shared a nod before Eevee scampered off to a nearby area known as the Lakeside hotel.

Anyone home??" she called out. A tall red haired woman opened the door. "Um d-down here." 'Vee eevee eev' The human followed the sound and noticed the fluffy pokemon on her door step. She gave a polite smile then frowned. "I'm sorry little fella but I don't allow wild pokemon in here." She shut the door. "Wait
Abandoned ChapelThe parish waits now,
the loneliness of corners
crawling outward on walls--
chipped away by the wind,
and held together
by silk spindles;
cobwebs align them like the membranes of memories,
the cut of a jewel in an broken window
against the sun
where beads of rain
gather in a mesh of strands
a new Mosaic
against the backdrop of a cemetery;
My eyes seek out the sermon
in close proximity,
paint no distance
between headstone and cloud;
elegies topple each other
in their climb to heaven
as light trickles
over the shade,
breathes a new glow over snuffed candles.
I feel the weight in these empty rows,
how a breath couldn't cease to be breath
in the midst of prayer.
